LEMOINE is providing civil services for Rudolph Libbe Group at the new First Solar NAT-01 solar panel manufacturing facility in New Iberia, LA.

First Solar is a leading American solar technology company and global provider of responsibly produced eco-efficient solar modules. The fully vertically integrated manufacturing facility will cover over two million square feet and is designed to transform a sheet of glass into a ready-to-ship solar panel in approximately 4.5 hours, producing over one dozen new Louisiana-made solar panels every minute. This investment is approximately $1.1 billion and is expected to create over 700 new direct manufacturing jobs in the state. The project is believed to be the most significant single capital investment in the area’s history. The facility is expected to be complete and producing panels in the first half of 2026.

LEMOINE Infrastructure’s self-performed scope includes grubbing, site grading, storm drainage, limestone, a laydown yard and site utilities for First Solar’s fifth American manufacturing facility that will produce high performance photovoltaic solar modules.
