This project was a joint venture with Frazier, and included clearing and grubbing, placing sand fill, separator fabric, compacted clay embankment, constructing an access road along protected side of levee berm, excavating for drainage canals, placing culverts, fertilizing and turf establishment. This project constructed approximately one mile of the 17.5 mile long levee system that provides 100-year level risk reduction to the area extending from the Bonnet Carre’ Spillway to Garyville.
